Sometimes, I just feel like I need to get out of the city. I usually try to escape to the mountains, and recently, I went with a few buddies. We pretty much just lounged around all week end...

I can be particular
As a musical artist, I like things a certain way. Sometimes, it can take a while for me to get situated and get my groove on...
It's always worth the wait, of course.
It was about that time...
Apparently, when you can do this with your hair...
... and it looks like this in the back...
... it's time for a haircut:
(It seems that mommy is so proud of her work, that there needed to be a separate post just about my hair. Sheesh. Get a life.)

Snacks, snacks, snacks...
Sometimes, I simply can't wait for my mom or dad to decide to feed me, so I decide to help myself. Naturally, I go for my favorite snacks (I know where they are, of course)...
At first, it took me a while to figure out how to open them, but I got it in the end...
Although the inside package is kinda tricky...
... so I put on my most pathetic expression and begged for help...
... and... VICTORY!

Halloween
Apparently, we moved into our house a year ago on Halloween - I was way too little to remember this, so I'm thinking it was just an excuse to have a party this year. Something about people coming over who helped us move and paint and move again and paint some more... but really, all I saw were a bunch of people eating and drinking and laughing and eating some more.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. It was super fun! Although my costume got a bit hot since it was at least a million degrees the day before Halloween...
I wasn't the only one whose parents dressed him up just to make him look silly...
(Well, technically Aunt Margo dressed herself up... but the others were victims, I tell you)
The BEST part - for we kids, anyway - was... well... see for yourself...
It was pretty much awesome.
And then on Sunday, I went trick or treating with my beekeeper... (oh, and mommy, too)

The Pumpkin Farm
While U.G. was visiting, we went to the pumpkin farm with friends and family. It was a bit chilly, but luckily I had my warm sweatshirt on and my snacks went everywhere with me (a little comfort food goes a long way...)
I shared some snacks with my buddy Isaac...
And made sure to take more snacks into the hay maze (you never know how long you might be in there... gotta take some supplies...)
And although I didn't wear a costume like some of my buddies who came...
I did try on a new look for a minute...
I really liked wandering around looking for the perfect pumpkin to take home...
And chose just the right one...
And was pretty pleased with myself...
When my work was done, I reclined in the red wagon and rested...

Uncle Garrett visits!
I'm so embarrassed that I'm not up to date on this blogging thing - my mom has kept me so busy with naps and meals and stuff that I can hardly get any time to myself to DO things. Like update the blog.
So... where were we? Right - Uncle Garrett came to visit! It was super fun to have another grown up around who would pretty much do whatever I wanted...
We to Idaho Springs and walked around a bit...
(well, others walked, while I was carried - such a great life...)
They tried to make me be in a family photo, but I showed them...
Then we went to the original Beau Jo's, where there were fascinating holes in the brick walls...
And then Uncle Garrett carried me some more - I'm so lucky!
