Where've we been?

Ok, so maybe a little time has elapsed since we last updated you on "Things to do with Cash". What happened? Well, one of us has been busy exploring Christmas from a toddler's perspective which included a trip to the mall where he played in the "snow" for over an hour:

And then there was the Parade of Lights with mommy's cousin, Annie, where bundling up was an absolute necessity and saying "wooooooooooow" eleventeen times a minute was apparently also absolutely necessary:

This little elf was very eager to help his mom clean up the house for a holiday meal with small group:

... and even got to the tough spots:

And then, before leaving for Ohio to visit Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas, we had to space out opening some Christmas gifts that had arrived a little early. So we practiced gift opening and there was much joy and excitement:

Sometimes, it was hard to choose which one to play with first:

Thank you all for the wonderful gifts!!!

(Needless to say, the birth of Christ wasn't foremost on this little man's mind this Christmas...)

Have I told you lately...

... how strong I am?

At this rate, I figure by the time I'm 50, I'll be able to spin the globe on my index finger.

In my sleep.

I love phones. So much.

I could play with them all day long - morning til night.

But I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to... and sometimes I get caught...

So my rule of thumb is to turn on the cuteness so I don't get in trouble...

It pretty much works every time.

(I'm fairly certain that I could get away with calling China and not get in trouble with this trick of mine)

After Thanksgiving...

... comes Christmas, apparently. I'm not entirely sure what that means, except that some people are in the habit of bringing trees into their homes. Weird, if you ask me. But I went with it.

Uncle Garrett was visiting, and I showed him how to find the best place to get a tree using his i-phone:

Then I helped him bring it in the house (again, what's up with living trees in the house??)...

... and told Daddy just where to set it up.

They were very accommodating and did everything I asked. I even got Uncle Garrett's girlfriend, Ellen, to feed me cookies.

I have a feeling I could get into this whole Christmas thing...

What's Thanksgiving....

... without a Pilgrim and Indian party?

That's right. My parents dressed me up for a Thanksgiving brunch at Joe and Keri's. Unbelievably, there are outfits in the world that are too large for me... but I was made to wear this one anyway.

Even though the hat was the only part that actually fit, the best part was throwing it on the ground over and over again... and having unsuspecting guests pick it up for me. Hilarious. You should try it sometime.
