Cabin fever, anyone?

So it's still winter, even in our often sunny hometown, which means we spend a fair amount of time indoors... especially recently when mommy and I got sick. We were sick for a loooong time - I can't tell you how long cause I have no real sense of time. I just know it lasted a while cause mommy kept saying things like "I can't believe we're STILL sick". So. How do we entertain ourselves when we're stuck at home either because it's super cold out or because we're sick?

We make silly faces:

Eat our snack on the stairs...

... and lunch on the counter:

Climb up and down the stairs over and over again:

I like to try to find as many things as possible to play with that aren't toys:

... especially if it means I can get into a little trouble:

Often, right before I crash, there's a lot of running about (my mommy calls it "bouncing off the walls" but I still haven't figured out how to do that...):

And when I'm good and tired and (voluntarily) collapse with my monkey and paci...

... it's naptime:

Staying home is a lot of work... sometimes I hear my mommy say that to my daddy, but somehow I get the feeling she's not talking about my work...

Living in Denvah...

... we tend to have the odd 65 degree day in the middle of the winter - which doesn't bother any of us one bit. In fact, it means we can go to the park which some of us in particular like quite a bit!

In fact, some of us are rather proud of how well we can slide down the slide...

... and swing in the swings...

... almost like it takes a special talent to do so.

And because we live near the mountains, we gotta make sure we've got all the right gear...

... and stay in shape - so there's a lot of running around...

... and of course some getting into trouble...

"Tricks"

I like to call them "talents", or even "displays of unusual intelligence". Who calls toddler activities "tricks", anyway? Grandparents, that's who. Well, in an effort to humor my grandparents, here is one of my favorite "tricks"...

Appearances can be deceiving

While I am clearly as caucasian as they come, I got some serious moves that say otherwise...

I'm just sayin'... gotta be in the genes somewhere...
