The very hungry caterpillar strikes again

C. and his mom recently traveled to the east coast for a wedding and visited with family and friends. He sported his favorite hungry caterpillar outfit when meeting aunt Jerah and cousin P-Rock for the first time (although he's been told many times the horizontal stripes are not the way to go, he still wears them with pride):

He had a "who's head is bigger" contest with his cousin (who believes C. might be the winner... at least in this picture, anyway):

 

 And snuggled with his aunt Jerah:

 

He also feasted with extended family on his grandma's side:

And once he was all stuffed with steak and other goodies, he chilled with his great aunt Karen:

On the way home from dinner, he topped it all off with a delicious bottle which he guzzled all by himself (he is almost five months, after all):

 

It was a fun and tiring trip for a little guy.

More Christmas Fun

. spent his first Christmas not only dressing up like Santa, but also with lots of family and friends. His grandparents and uncle Garrett were visiting and he was spoiled rotten by them all...

After every last drop of fun was sucked out of his Santa suit, C. changed in a lovely sweater vest...

 

... nothing quite says "Merry Christmas" like a sweater vest.

 Then he lounged with grandpa...

 and hung out with grandma...

and went sledding with his cousins, aunt Claire, uncle Garrett and grandma...

And finally, he relaxed and had his portrait done by cousin Lucy:

It was a good first Christmas.

Christmas Morning

C. woke his parents before dawn on Christmas morning asking to open presents, so they retaliated by dressing him up before going downstairs to open - and chew on - lots of presents, whether they were meant to be chewed on or not...

 

 

 

 

 

 

Baby, it's cold outside...

We had an especially cold week recently with a considerable amount of snow. C. enjoyed staying warm and cozy when venturing outdoors...

 

 

Bliss

C. had a visitor today. They played, they laughed, they had such fun together. This particular friend set him up with everything he could ever need while hanging on his playmat: toys, blankets, even a pillow. He was so spoiled.

He just loved it...

He loved it so much, in fact, that the coziness set in, and he couldn't resist a little nap:

Bad habits start early

C. loves himself some TV. He'll go to great lengths to make sure it's within his eyesight:

During a diaper change at G & G's...

... or at home while chillin' on his tummy...

There are worse things to be obsessed with when you're four months old.

All things new

C. got a little bored of hanging in his hood, so he took off to visit family for Thanksgiving. He was looking for an adventure and seemed to find it in all the new things, people and places he came across in his travels.

He tried out his new "pod"...

... and seemed to like his new caterpillar outfit (thank you, Aunt Laura!) and fun toy (thank you, Grandma!)...

He even enjoyed chillin' on Grandma's new quilt in his new sweater...

But his favorite part was meeting and hanging with new people...
