My first fort

There is only one way to describe my first fort:
The awesomest of its sort!

I could invite some to play...

Explore solo night and day...

It didn't matter which way,
Cause who could have imagined a better sport!

Too much fun

Recently, we had quite the week end at our house... We had a sleepover with friends - which I wasn't invited to, so I decided not to sleep at all that night and instead, spend the night climbing out of my pack n play and wandering down to see what all the laughing and giggling was about. This may have displeased my parents and their guests, but I was too busy climbing and wandering and peeking around corners and such.

In the meantime, apparently there was pizza making, feeding of babies, wearing of mustacchios, eating delicious foods and all sorts of craziness...

After my sleepless night, I needed a nice cuppa Joe... which Uncle Trevor might have given me when my parents weren't looking...

Had I also managed to read the newspaper, it would've been the perfect morning...

Mother's Day

It's been super warm here lately, so we had to go outside and play on Mother's Day afternoon. We had a nice picnic by the lake with fancy cheeses and french bread and olives and stuff - but the best fun was when we played fun games...

And because it was Mother's Day, I let me mom kiss and hug me a lot...

Well, I guess it's not so out-of-the-ordinary... but gotta keep a manly front, so keep it on the DL if you would.

Question

Everyone says I'm a miniature version of my dad. Fair enough, he's a cool guy. Then I looked at these photos of my mom when she was little... Tell me what you think:

I mean, I get that I have the blond hair and blue eyes thing going on and neither of my parents do. I also can't help but think there's a bit of a resemblance going on here...

Some Easter stuff

So apparently, there's this thing called an Easter Egg Hunt where a bunch of kids run around like maniacs screaming and bumping into each other and laughing hysterically - it's awesome! You should try it sometime. Oh, and I guess they're also picking up eggs as they go along. This part, I don't get.

My mom and dad would point out an egg in the grass somewhere, and tell me to go pick it up... like I'm a dog or something?

And then I was supposed to put it in a bag...

And then what? The eggs sit together in the bag?

Seems pretty boring to me. But like I said, the running around like a maniac part was pretty awesome!

Also, I may have made a few lady friends - I like to play it cool with the ladies, so we'll keep the part about them being my friends between you and me...

My motto

Always, always shake a monkey...

... and if at all possible, eat some dirt...

... and make as big of a mess as you can manage on your own...

... and then be sure to lounge around...

.... for a good...

... long...

... while...

... until you begin to attract others who can't help themselves and join you in your lounging...

... but never forget to have a quick escape route planned in case you get caught for any of the above...

It's simple, really:

don't get caught.
