It was the most wonderful time of the year... (part 1)

You guys have no idea how awesome Christmas is... or do you? I mean, what's not to love? When you're one, it's all about stimulation, so lights were my personal favorite. Everywhere I went, there were flashing lights and usually music, too! And then there are the treats and presents and cozy fires and... it's so amazing! I was kinda overloaded on awesomeness this year - maybe that happens when you're little and everything is new?

This year, we visited Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Laura and Uncle Gary in Ohio. Wish I could tell you in detail about all the fun we had! Instead, an overview of some of the finest moments...

It took me a while to figure it out, but I had a lot of practice and finally got the hang of opening gifts this Christmas season:

Again, some favorites: a toy plane that makes noise and has flashing lights...

Elmo!

A cape, handcrafted by a dear friend (thank you, Kim!!) so I can be a superhero along with my buddies...

Tools so I can help Daddy with projects:

And much, much more... I'm pretty spoiled. Maybe I shouldn't show off how much my relatives, friends and parents have spoiled me - you might be jealous...

But I do want to make sure I communicate that while I love to play with ALL my new toys...

... sometimes the most fun is playing in the boxes they came in...
